Odaily Daily News Solana Foundation proposed SIMD-0215 to expand Solana's infrastructure to billions of users' accounts. This proposal adds a new hash, the "Accounts Lattice Hash", which uses homomorphic hash to maintain the hash of the entire account state. It can be quickly updated and is very secure, allowing: (1) each block to contain the hash of all accounts, not just the changed accounts in that block, and (2) to delete Epoch Accounts.
