The UK reopens investigation into rental violations by the Chancellor of the Exchequer as new evidence emerges.

Jin10 reported on October 31 that due to new evidence, the Prime Minister Starmer's ministerial code advisor is reopening the investigation into Chancellor of the Exchequer Reeves' incident of renting out his own home without a license. Prime Minister spokesperson Gerant Ellis stated to reporters on Thursday: “After reviewing emails exchanged by the chancellor's husband, new leads have been passed on to the Prime Minister and his independent advisor.” Ellis did not disclose further details but reiterated that the Prime Minister remains “confident” in Reeves. When asked whether the annual budget would be released as scheduled on November 26 and whether it would still be presented by Reeves, the spokesperson answered both questions affirmatively.
