Unpopular take about time in this market.
I waste enough hours scrolling to notice something depressing: I'm not even "behind the trend", the trend is just dead by the time I see it. A meme lives for a day now. We used to rinse one joke for months.
Crypto feels the same.
People still talk in clean 4-year cycles like it's 2017. But everything sped up.
Info travels faster. Positioning faster. Narratives get mined and exhausted faster. Even "big" bullish moves last a weekend. Then you blink and market's chopping your legs again.
Bears don't even feel like proper bears anymore. Not "two years of pain." Just intense liquidation seasons that come and go, and you're supposed to keep functioning through them.
This isn't just crypto. It's the world.
Attention spans, content loops, product cycles — everything compresses. If AI does what everyone expects, it won't slow down. It'll compress further.
The part nobody says out loud:
Your personal clock speeds up too. The older you get, weeks disappear.
Taking a year off mentally because "this cycle is cooked" isn't neutral. You're paying with the only resource you can't refill.
You can scroll a thousand clips about BTC "dying" and feel busy.
Or accept the game is faster now and build a process that survives it.
Not more motivation. Just better defaults.
