Gate.io News bot message, according to monitoring data from Whale Alert, Tether Treasury completed the minting of 1 billion USDT on the Tron network at 04:25 on April 23.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino provided clarification regarding this minting, confirming that the 1 billion USDT is authorized but not issued transactions, which will be used to replenish the inventory for the next phase of issuance requests and on-chain swaps.
