The agency predicts that the economic growth for the UK in 2025 will be 0.8%, down from the previous expectation of 1% three months ago; the economic growth expectation for 2026 is 0.9%, which is a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the previous expectation. British media reported that the decline in expectations is mainly due to the significant increase in uncertainty caused by US tariff policies and their impact on the global economy.
