Jupiter联创: will upgrade API access and smart security checks to address API abuse and DCA issues

BlockBeats News, on August 9th, Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, revealed in a post some issues Jupiter Spot has recently faced and the measures being taken. Jupiter’s free quote API has been severely abused, and Jupiter will switch to using API access rights based on access Secret Key. In addition, for DCA, due to CU miscalculation, Jupiter was shut down for about 6 hours, resulting in many orders unable to be executed. Previously, Jupiter performed price and Slippage checks before executing transactions to ensure safer execution of DCA. However, for low Liquidity Tokens, there may be a significant difference between mark price and execution price, causing the engine to fail to execute transactions. To address this issue, Jupiter will add more information in the user interface and conduct smarter security checks instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. These measures will be gradually implemented over time.
