Golden Finance reported that Standard Chartered Bank and Synpulse released a report today on the tokenisation of real-world assets (RWA), with a particular focus on trade finance. They expect the tokenisation market to reach $30.1 trillion within ten years, with trade finance accounting for 16% or $4.8 trillion, placing it among the top three global tokenised assets. However, the bank pointed out that only 80% of the export market currently receives financing, so there may be a 10% trade finance gap that has not been disclosed. In this scenario, given that global trade is expected to reach $32.6 trillion by 2030, the gap will be close to $5 trillion.
