Odaily Planet Daily News According to Matthew Sigel, Director of Digital Asset Research at VanEck, has applied to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Solana ETF. The new fund is named Vaneck Solana Trust, which is the first Solana ETF to be applied for in the United States. He stated: "The native token SOL has similar functions to other digital commodities such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, used for paying transaction fees and computational services on the blockchain, similar to ETH on the Ethereum network, SOL can be traded on digital asset platforms or used for peer-to-peer transactions."
