Kairos is a non-custodial, permissionless interest rate swap protocol deployed on Ethereum. It allows traders (buyers) to hedge or speculate on floating rates (provided by a reference rate oracle) by paying or receiving a fixed rate, while liquidity providers (LPs) deposit collateral as the counterparty. Each market is managed by the SwapCore contract and consists of paired fixed and floating markets, with independent collateral, oracles, risk parameters, and utilization fee mechanisms. Positions are represented as NFTs, which can be transferred or used in other DeFi protocols.
