XRP lawsuit progress: Lawyers expect a turning point in the case within 12 days.

Gate News bot message, XRP lawyer Bill Morgan elaborated on the potential developments in the Ripple lawsuit in his latest X post. He emphasized that June 16 is a key deadline for the U.S. SEC to submit a report to the appellate court, as the 60-day period has ended. The SEC has only 12 days left to submit the status report to the appellate court, and Morgan expects significant progress during this period.

He wrote: “There are 12 days left until the date when the US SEC must submit a report to the appeals court. By then, there must be progress, otherwise the appeals and cross-appeals will continue, and Ripple will also need to submit a brief.”

Meanwhile, increasing speculation suggests that the Ripple vs. SEC case may be resolved before June 13, 2025. In April of this year, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit granted the joint request of Ripple and the SEC to stay the XRP litigation appeal for 60 days. Therefore, the court ordered the SEC to submit a status report by June 15.
