This will be the first UFC event held at the White House. Trump hinted last month that there could be a UFC match on the White House lawn to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence next year. White mentioned that he discussed the relevant plans with Trump on Monday night and will have a face-to-face meeting later this month. According to White, Trump proactively contacted him to discuss the match and has entrusted his daughter Ivanka Trump with the preparations. A person familiar with the White House's preparation plans indicated that the match is expected to take place on July 4 next year.
