Jinse Finance reports that Strategy, the world's largest Bitcoin enterprise, has reduced its rate of Bitcoin accumulation to the lowest level in five years. As of this quarter, Strategy has only added 388 Bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 640,031 Bitcoins at the end of the third quarter—a growth rate of only 0.1%. In the previous few quarters, the treasury growth of Strategy has typically been in the high single digits or even high double digits percentage. In fact, in the fourth quarter of 2024, its BTC Holdings growth reached a multi-year high of 77%. Unfortunately, as the purchase volume of BTC decreases, the stock price of MSTR common stock for Strategy also fell by 10% this quarter. As early as 2020, Michael Saylor's 1990s enterprise software company turned to leveraged Bitcoin purchases and had accumulated a total of 70,470 Bitcoins by the end of that year, starting from a smaller base. The BTC treasury holdings continued to grow strongly in 2021, with double-digit and high single-digit percentage increases. The growth rate slowed in 2022, before rising again in 2023 and 2024.
