Deutsche Bank: The British Central Bank can escape the "Taylor Swift economic effect"

Abstract generation in progress

July 17th, Jinshi data, British Central Bank policy makers are no strangers to the pain brought by service prices. British inflation data has risen, and service prices have once again caught people by surprise, but this may be more of a temporary concern. Sanjay Raja, chief UK economist at Deutsche Bank, emphasized that the most surprising data is the hotel prices, with a pump of 8.8% month-on-month in June, and a substantial pump in the prices of live concerts. Although it is difficult to completely clear up the confusion, it is very likely to be the impact of Taylor Swift’s tour. If so, the situation is likely to reverse next month, which means that the Interest Rate setters at the Central Bank may tend to ignore some of the upward factors of service industry inflation. However, Raja added that the possibility of a rate cut by the British Central Bank in the next two weeks is balanced.
