The French left-wing party threatens to impeach Macron

According to Agence France-Presse Paris on August 17, the "Indomitable France" party threatened to start impeachment proceedings against France President Emmanuel Macron, accusing him of refusing to "note" the results of the July legislative elections and considering it an "anti-democratic institutional coup." Co-signatories, including the party's leader Jean-Luc · Mélenchon, the party's coordinator Manuel · Bombal, and the head of the party's caucus in the National Assembly, Mathilde ·Pano, wrote: "We are writing this as a solemn warning. Macron, they stressed, "must know that we will use all constitutional means to remove him and will not succumb to his mistakes that violate the basic rules of democracy."
