Stacks Nakamoto is expected to successfully upgrade on the 15th of this month, and the STX yield will Halving
On September 2nd, after the successful upgrade, according to the new Consensus rules, the rewards will be Halving, with only 500 STX Tokens rewarded per BTC Block. As planned, the official estimate is to conduct a Hard Fork at Stacks Block Height 861,500, activating all new rules of Stacks Nakamoto, while simultaneously achieving production Halving to enhance the efficiency of the Stacks network. Based on the current Block height calculation, the upgrade is expected to be successfully completed around September 15th. It is reported that the current StacksBlock chain adopts the POX Mining mechanism, where Miners stake BTC and are rewarded with STX Token. Each BTC Block rewards 1000 STX Tokens.
