Russia troops will take part in the Chinese exercise "Northern · Joint-2024".
According to the annual plan and the Consensus between China and Russia, the Russian military will send naval and air forces to participate in the 'Northern Alliance-2024' exercise conducted by China in the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk in September. The purpose of this exercise is to deepen the level of strategic cooperation between the Chinese and Russian militaries and enhance their ability to jointly respond to security threats. In addition, Chinese and Russian naval fleets will organize their 5th joint maritime cruise in the relevant waters of the Pacific, and China will also participate in the Russian military's 'Ocean-2024' strategic exercise.
