According to the official announcement, dYdX Trading has laid off 35% of its core team members. CEO and co-founder Antonio Juliano wrote in a blog post, 'This decision was made because we realized that the company we built is different from what dYdX needs to be. We will move forward with a clear vision and new passion. We will create amazing work.'
Contrary to previous reports, Juliano initially resigned on May 13 due to personal and professional reasons, and returned to the company on October 10 after a six-month vacation to lead the development of the protocol based on Cosmos.
