CICC: Raise BYD's target price to HK$354, with still significant rise potential for profitability

On November 4th, Jinshi Data News, CICC released a research report, based on the third quarter performance of BYD Co., Ltd. (01211.HK) meeting expectations, maintaining profit forecasts for the company for the next two years, extending the valuation model to 2025, and seeing a clear rise in sales and profitability trends. The target price is raised by 18% to HKD 354, corresponding to a forecast P/E ratio of approximately 18 times next year, and the ‘outperform’ rating is maintained. The bank pointed out that the proportion of high-end and overseas products has been adjusted, but due to the improvement of the brand portfolio, the revenue per vehicle has risen, and its research and development remains strong. Looking ahead, CICC expects BYD’s strong technological cycle to continue and maintains an optimistic view on its export business, expecting a significant increase in profits.
