JPMorgan: The scale of encryption VC investment in 2025 is unlikely to reach the peak level of 2021-2022

The report identifies key challenges including: intensified competition from major financial institutions such as BlackRock in the stablecoin and tokenization fields; the rise of community-driven financing platforms such as Echo leading to a reduction in large-scale token sales to VCs by project parties; reduced attractiveness of venture capital in a high interest rate environment; and the diversion of investor attention to encryption ETFs. Analysts believe that in the future, venture capital will pay more attention to projects with practical user adoption and long-term rise potential, rather than traditional short-term indicators.
