Odaily Planet Daily News, Ameriprise Financial's chief economist, Russell Price, expects a 0.3% monthly rise in overall PCE in December, and a 0.2% monthly rise in core PCE, in line with market expectations. Economists widely expect that core PCE will continue to decline in the coming months, despite sticky service prices still exerting upward pressure on the index. Russell Price added, 'Maintaining the pause is a very rational and reasonable view, and it is expected that the Fed will cut interest rates by 25 basis points at the June meeting.' (Jinshi)
