Google will completely close the development of the Android operating system starting next week, but this does not mean it is closed source.

According to Jinsuo Finance, Android Authority reports that for many years, the development process of the Android system has been open to the public, allowing outsiders to see Google’s progress. However, this situation is about to change, as Google has confirmed that they will begin developing the Android operating system entirely in internal branches. Google also confirmed that the company is committed to releasing the Source Code of Android, so this change does not mean that Android will become a closed-source platform.
