OpenAI has recently implemented a quite interesting measure—adding an AI age recognition feature to ChatGPT. This system can infer the user's age by analyzing account behavior, not just based on the information provided during registration.

Accounts suspected by the system to be underage will have their content strictly regulated. Adult users who are mistakenly flagged don't need to worry; they can verify their identity through third-party services to lift the restrictions.

At the same time, OpenAI has launched a parental control feature, allowing parents to set quiet hours (for example, preventing children from using it at night) and receive notifications if their children show signs of emotional distress. These features are already available in the consumer version of ChatGPT, and the EU is expected to roll them out in the coming weeks.

How reliable is this age recognition system? I feel like it easily misjudges guys like me as little kids. --- Parent supervision is definitely a good direction, but the EU is always a step behind. --- Relying on behavior to judge age? Then I better be careful haha. --- Third-party identity verification is a bit troublesome, but it's better than being restricted. --- How about disabling this feature at night? Just let parents turn off WiFi directly. --- Notifications for abnormal emotions or the like, feels a bit like over-monitoring. --- Could this system be just a big company showing off its muscles again? --- EU push notifications will take a few weeks, probably a long way off domestically.

Is age recognition reliable? I'm afraid the system will mistake me for a kid. OpenAI is starting parental controls again, so kids can't escape anymore. The parental notification feature is great; parents can know immediately if a child's emotions are breaking down. What if adults are misjudged? Will third-party verification require filling out a bunch of information again? It seems that in the future, anonymous surfing will be difficult; this tracking capability is a bit intense. EU, please launch it soon, or how long will we have to wait?

Alright, more new regulatory tricks. Now kids playing ChatGPT will also be restricted. But speaking of which, relying on behavior analysis for age recognition? Sometimes I also want to pretend to be younger. The parent notification feature is acting weird, feels like privacy concerns. OpenAI is really starting to act like parents. Next, will they report what NFT we buy? This idea sounds good, but what if it mistakenly flags someone as underage? Verification can be a hassle. Honestly, I'm more concerned about whether this system is stable and bug-free.

You're starting to stir things up again, but this time it's quite interesting. AI can read minds now, huh? Gotta be more careful with what I say in the future. Parent supervision... privacy nightmare warning. Behavior analysis to judge age? I feel like it's easy to get it wrong. The EU's pace is really slow; it's about time they pushed this out. Regulatory content—this move is necessary, but who will oversee the review standards? So in the future, I have to always think someone is watching my words? Is this really the Web3 spirit?

Haha, now there's no way to fool the system, we have to rely on behavior to judge age. It feels a bit deceptive. Basically, it's about controlling kids' usage. Parents finally have a weapon. Third-party identity verification? Is this another new trick to cut the leeks? I just want to know what the system's false positive rate is. What if brothers get flagged as minors? As soon as the EU launches it, there will be conflicts. How will the Web3 community respond? ChatGPT is becoming more and more like traditional internet products. Is there still any point? These days, kids are heavily restricted from playing whatever they want. How will they grow up in the future? So I need to set up identity verification in advance, or it could be embarrassing if I get locked out someday.
