Phoenix Technology News, February 3rd — Recently, Li Auto Senior Vice President Fan Haoyu revealed some sales figures for the company’s AI glasses during an appearance on the “Crossing” podcast. He stated that the Li Auto AI glasses are in high demand, selling out within three hours with tens of thousands of units from stock, and selling out of two months’ production capacity in three days. Due to high quality requirements, production capacity cannot be scaled up. Additionally, 12% of buyers are non-Li Auto owners, and currently, the tens of thousands of users average 40-50 interactions per day.
According to verified data from XR Vision, the first batch of Li Auto AI glasses exceeded 30,000 units sold. This figure is slightly below Xiaomi’s sales of 50,000 units within three days of launch, but Li Auto’s initial stock was not as abundant as Xiaomi’s, and some SKUs quickly showed out of stock. Regarding offline store distribution, at launch, Li Auto only offered some stores for experience, whereas Xiaomi’s 4,000 offline stores had small stock available, with many customers purchasing in person. This data is very impressive, demonstrating Li Auto’s product strength, brand appeal, and the purchasing power of Li Auto owners.
It is understood that Li Auto released its first AI glasses, Levis AI Smart Glasses, on December 3rd last year, and began selling them in Li Auto’s online store and JD.com on the same day. The product features first-person perspective shooting, rapid AI response, and vehicle control capabilities. Weighing only 36 grams, it uses TR90 ultra-light material and titanium alloy hinges. In partnership with Zeiss, it offers multiple optical versions. Less than a week after launch, all units were sold out. According to JD.com, “Due to limited capacity, the first batch of orders is expected to be delivered by the end of February.”
JD.com also specifically stated that the official sale started in mid-March, meaning the second batch began nearly four months after the first. There are reports that Li Auto is currently seeking new manufacturing suppliers.
