Indonesian President Prabowo believes the US-Israel war on Iran is completely unjustifiable.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo expressed “quite surprise” at the U.S. and Israel’s military actions in Iran, saying he sees no “rationality” behind the operation.

The current leader of the world’s largest Muslim population, retired General Joko Widodo, said in an interview that Iran recently told him they are cautious about negotiating with the U.S. to end the war because they feel they have been “deceived twice.” He added that in an asymmetric war, “they can really only seek survival.”

“We are all confused,” the 74-year-old Widodo said about the war. “I feel sad; I think this war is without reason.”

Widodo voluntarily offered to mediate, having faced criticism in Indonesia for joining President Donald Trump’s peace commission. The Indonesian leader stated that the plan to send peacekeeping troops to Gaza has now been put on hold.

Regarding the peace commission on Saturday, Widodo said, “Every policy has pros and cons.” “If we are involved, we can still exert influence and work toward a lasting solution. We believe this solution is to establish an independent Palestine — a two-state solution,” he added.
