497MW wind power project candidate announcement: SANY Heavy Energy pre-winning bid

“Wind Power Voice” has learned that on April 7th, the public announcement of the winning candidates for the fifth batch of wind turbine procurement projects in 2025 (Section 1) of the National Energy Group’s open tender.

According to the announcement, Sany Heavy Energy is the top candidate for Section 1, with a bid price of 1.03B yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 2,081.8 yuan/kW.

It is reported that the fifth batch of wind turbine procurement projects in 2025 by the National Energy Group includes a total of 8 projects, with a combined capacity of 497 MW, and individual turbine capacities ranging from 6 MW to 7.X MW.

Project 1: The 50 MW wind power project in Jingyuan, Baiyin, Gansu, is located in Erdui Village, Yongxin Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City. The planned installed capacity is 50 MW, with a construction period of 12 months. The proposed plan for this phase of the wind farm is to install 8 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.25 MW each. Delivery schedule: The wind turbine equipment is planned to be delivered on-site starting August 2026, with all 8 turbines arriving by the end of October 2026 (transported to the site). The specific delivery time and quantity will be subject to written notice from the tenderer.

Project 2: The third phase of the 50 MW Furong Mountain Wind Farm in Anhua County, Hunan Province, is located near Meicheng Town at the northern end of the Xuefeng Mountains within Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It is designed to install 8 wind turbines of 6.25 MW each, with a total capacity of 50 MW. Hub height is 125 meters or more, with rotor diameters between 220 meters and 240 meters. Delivery schedule: Tentatively, 6 months after contract signing (with staggered deliveries based on site needs, subject to the requirements of the tenderer).

Project 3: The 100 MW wind power project in Babao Town, Songzi City, Hubei Province, is located in Songzi City, Jingzhou, Hubei. It plans to install 6.25 MW wind turbines, with a capacity of 100 MW (no mixed models allowed), totaling 16 units; rotor diameters not less than 220 meters; steel tower sections no longer than 25 meters each; hub height no less than 160 meters; tower structure is a concrete-steel hybrid. Delivery schedule: Equipment to be installed before hoisting: tower sections from May 2026 to December 2026; main units from May 2026 to December 2026; blades from May 2026 to December 2026; hubs from May 2026 to December 2026; bottom control cabinets, internal transformers of towers (if any), and other components to be supplied simultaneously with the towers.

Project 4: The Longyuan Shenyang Kangping Furuoshan 49.5 MW wind project “replacing small with large” capacity upgrade is located in the southwest of Kangping County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It involves dismantling 66 units of 750 kW turbines and replacing them with 8 turbines: 6 units of 6.25 MW with 220m rotor diameters, and 2 units of 6.0 MW with 200m rotor diameters, totaling 8 turbines, with a pre-selected hub height of 140 meters and a total capacity of 49.5 MW. Delivery schedule: Flanges and anchor bolts from May to June 2026; main units, hubs, and blades from July to September 2026; delivery dates for main units, blades, hubs, and auxiliary equipment are subject to 15 days’ prior notice from the tenderer and supervisor.

Project 5: The 112.5 MW wind project in Zhi Guo Mountain, Shuanglongjing, and Damo Ancient, Kunming, Yunnan Province, is located in the northeast of Shilin County, Kunming City. It plans to install 18 wind turbines of 6.25 MW each, with rotor diameters of 220 meters, total capacity of 112.5 MW (no negative deviation allowed, rotor diameter not less than 220 meters, hub height not less than 120 meters). Only one type of turbine model is accepted; mixed models are not. Delivery schedule: Anchor bolts in 3 months; main units and tower sections in 4 months.

Project 6: The 56.25 MW wind project in Yinan, Shandong Province, is located in Hutou Town and Puwang Town, Yinan County, Linyi City. It will install 9 turbines of 6.25 MW each, with hub heights not less than 140 meters and rotor diameters not less than 220 meters. Delivery schedule: Anchor bolts from March 1 to April 30, 2026; equipment needed before hoisting from April 15 to July 15, 2026; main units from May 10 to August 10, 2026; tower sections from May 10 to August 10, 2026; flanges from April 15 to July 15, 2026; blades from May 10 to August 10, 2026. Delivery dates for main units, blades, and hubs are subject to 15 days’ prior notice from the tenderer and supervisor.

Project 7: The 43.75 MW distributed wind project in Zhutian, Fei County, F County, Shandong Province, is located in the Zhutian area of Fei County, F County, Shandong Province. It will install 7 turbines of 6.25 MW each, with hub heights of 140 meters. Delivery schedule: Anchor bolts from March 1 to April 30, 2026; equipment needed before hoisting from April 15 to July 15, 2026; main units from May 10 to August 10, 2026; tower sections from May 10 to August 10, 2026; flanges from April 15 to July 15, 2026; blades from May 10 to August 10, 2026. Delivery dates for main units, blades, and hubs are subject to 15 days’ prior notice from the tenderer and supervisor.

Project 8: The Yongji Smart Campus supporting 35 MW wind project is located in the western part of Yongji County, Jilin Province, within Laoxi Town. It plans to install 4 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 7.X MW or above, with total capacity not allowed to deviate, accepting capacity reduction, and providing capacity type certification and design certification meeting grid company requirements before delivery. Rotor diameters must be no less than 220 meters, with steel towers no less than 135 meters high. No phased delivery; steel tower sections. Delivery schedule: Anchor bolts in June 2026; tower sections, main units, hubs, and blades from July to October 2026.
