📈 The Psychology of a Market Cycle in Crypto

Markets move through repeating emotional phases—hope, optimism, belief, thrill, euphoria, complacency, anxiety, denial, panic, anger, and depression—before restarting the cycle with disbelief.

Disbelief: “This rally will fail like the others.”

Hope: “A recovery is possible.”

Optimism: “This rally is real.”

Belief: “Time to get fully invested.”

Thrill: “I’ll buy more on margin—gotta tell everyone!”

Euphoria: “I’m a genius, we’re all going to be rich!”

Complacency: “We just need to cool off for the next rally.”

Anxiety: “Why am I getting margin calls? This dip is lasting too long.”

Denial: “My investments are solid. They’ll come back.”

Panic: “Everyone is selling! I need to get out!”

Capitulation: “I’m selling everything—I can’t take the losses.”

Anger: “Who caused this crash?!”

Depression: “My retirement is lost. I’m an idiot.”

Disbelief (again): “This is a sucker’s rally…” and the cycle restarts.

🔥 Where Are We Now in Crypto?
Given Bitcoin reclaiming momentum, institutional inflows (ETFs, Solv BTC+, etc.), and altcoins starting to heat up, it looks like we’re between Belief → Thrill. Retail is waking up, but euphoria hasn’t arrived yet. The true mania phase—where everyone thinks “we’re all geniuses”—still seems ahead.

👉🏻 That means there’s still runway before we hit peak euphoria, but also a reminder to stay disciplined.
