The feeling of the first on-chain interaction is very much like the first time riding a high-speed train: nervous, excited, and your wallet balance constantly reminding you not to fumble.
At the moment I clicked confirm, I really thought I had made a major life decision, after all, that Gas fee is something I can remember for a lifetime.
When the transaction success notification lit up, the rush was comparable to getting a driver’s license; I even wanted to take a screenshot and post it on social media:
"Mom, I’ve grown up, I’ve learned to go on-chain."
What’s even funnier is that shortly after the interaction was successful, I suddenly realized—I could never go back to a "worry-free off-chain" life.
From then on, I started staring at the block explorer to watch every one of my operations, just as tense as waiting for a romantic interest to message back.
