Reya has recently made me realize: it turns out that on-chain transactions can achieve millisecond-level execution + full self-custody + zero transaction fees, and it’s not at the expense of sacrificing decentralization for speed. Their approach is quite ruthless: the entire transaction ordering is directly anchored to Ethereum validators, and the execution process is verified using zk circuits, which means it maximizes both speed and security. The most critical point: there is no single sequencer risk.
