Take a peek at how Ethereum staking's been moving lately.
The growth rate? It's cooled off quite a bit. We're seeing just 5% gains year-to-date compared to last year's 18% surge. Liquid staking has basically hit a plateau, hovering around 47% of the total staked ETH.
As for the numbers, one protocol holds roughly 24.1% of all staked Ethereum. That translates to about 50.8% dominance in the liquid staking space specifically.
Seems like the initial groundwork has been laid down successfully.

5% YoY rise? Is this what they call "groundwork"? It looks like the momentum has run out, bro.

A 5% rise? Why weren't you so calm when it was 18% last year?

honestly that 24.1% concentration is starting to look like a vulnerability waiting to happen. technically speaking, we're one governance vote away from some pretty questionable implementation decisions. not great.

5% rise? Is this the foundation being laid? It feels not as optimistic as I imagined...

5% rise? Is this what they call groundwork? I see it's plateaued.

From the data performance, this 5% rise indeed reflects the saturation signal of the liquid staking market. It is worth noting that the dominant position of a single protocol at 50.8% has reached the governance risk threshold, and this level of centralization from the perspective of token economics goes against the original intention.

The growth rate fell from 18% to 5%. Is this what is called maturity? Or is it that everyone has grown tired of it?
