In trading, the most ruthless move is actually the stop loss.
You see, in the crypto market, pressing the close position button can say goodbye to losses in 0.1 seconds. But in life? A friend complains to you about a jerk, and you advise her to cut ties completely, but then a couple of days later you still see them being all lovey-dovey together.
Why? Because reality doesn't have that "one-click close" button. Emotions, work, interpersonal relationships, it's all a tangled mess, impossible to cut through and still chaotic.
So I figured it out — the core of life’s stop loss is not being quick, but having a clear line in your heart. You must be clear about where this line is. Once it’s breached, just walk away, don’t hesitate, and don’t fantasize about being able to pull back.
Just like watching the position of $ETH, if you need to cut losses, then do it; dragging it out will only lead to deeper losses.

Well said, there really is no stop loss button in life, so you have to be more resolute.

Absolutely true, the reality is that there is no Close Position button, otherwise I wouldn't keep cutting losses in my feelings.

ngl this hits different when you've actually gotten rekt on a bad bridge migration... the "don't hope it recovers" part? yeah that's the play. seen too many people watching their liquidity pool positions bleed out instead of just cutting the slippage loss and moving on. it's that counter-party risk thinking — sometimes you gotta accept the L and rebalance your exposure elsewhere.

It really is that line. I was dragging my feet before, and as a result, the coin fell by 70% before I cut loss, and I'm still regretting it now.

Well said, what stop loss is there in life? It's all self-deception.
In fact, the hardest part is not cutting the position, but cutting off that unwillingness.
Really, letting go of a person hurts more than cutting a position when ETH falls.

To put it harshly, the reality is that there is no stop loss button, and we are all just going around in circles.
The hardest thing in life is to clearly recognize that line and then really dare to cut.
In the crypto world, cutting positions is easy, but cutting life is difficult, haha.

You're absolutely right, the reality is that there is no Close Position button... I have such a fren around me, still dragging on after half a year.

Well said, the reality is that there is no stop loss button, which is why it tortures people so much.

It's too heart-wrenching to say; the reality is that there is no stop loss button, so most people keep incurring losses.

Well said, the reality is that there is no stop loss button. This is especially heartbreaking when it comes to emotions, I've seen too many people stubbornly hold on to an order that is destined to fall below the bottom line.
