On December 1st, there is an interesting phenomenon - the traditional "Christmas rally" on Wall Street may be doomed this year.
Amy Wu Silverman from RBC Capital Markets noticed that there has been a strong bearish sentiment in the options market recently, with many investors rushing to buy downside protection. On the other hand, Omar Aguilar from Schwab Asset Management also offered an observational perspective: after the government shutdown, the newly released macro data has been a bit chaotic, and the leaders in various sectors have started to shift positions, which is actually a quite obvious sign of rotation.
The fluctuations in this traditional market are not isolated events for the crypto market, as changes in capital flow and risk appetite often transmit over.

The Christmas market is doomed, what about crypto... I'll check for cross-chain arbitrage opportunities again tonight, it feels like gas fees have risen again.

Is the Christmas market really going to crash this time? I see that short positions have already filled up the downside protection, this rhythm doesn't feel right.

Is the Christmas market doomed? I said the recent market atmosphere is not just an illusion... The put protection has skyrocketed, isn't this just the institutions showing weakness?

Christmas market is cooling down? Ha, Wall Street's old tricks might really flop this year.
Funds are all heading down for protection, this signal is a bit hard to hold on to... why does it feel like encryption here is also going to be worrisome.
