Zilliqa launched a limited-time staking opportunity that caught attention recently. They're offering 14% annual returns for a two-week lockup period, with total allocation capped at 16.85 million ZIL tokens.
The program runs from December 4th through December 18th, 2025. Individual participants can stake up to 845,000 ZIL to join this flash rewards initiative. What makes it noteworthy is the higher-than-usual APY combined with the relatively short commitment window.
Given the first-come-first-served nature and the hard cap on total allocations, those interested in ZIL staking might want to evaluate this sooner rather than later. The 14-day lockup is significantly shorter than typical staking periods, which could appeal to users looking for medium-term yield opportunities without extended capital lock-in.

First come, first served tactics are back again... This time, can ZIL avoid crashing the market?

A 14% return sounds nice, but it's only for two weeks... doesn't seem that interesting.
---
First come, first served again—I'm way too familiar with this trick, it'll definitely be gone in seconds.
---
8.45 million ZIL cap—are they just trying to get retail investors to be bag holders?
---
Unlocks in just two weeks? I thought it would be locked for three months. The yield is definitely tempting though.
---
Don't ask me why I'm not participating—my ZIL has already been put elsewhere, haha.
---
Staking 16.85 million ZIL and distributing it to everyone... how much does that come out to on average? Has anyone done the math?
---
To put it plainly, it's just another way to pump the price—a short-term play to attract retail investors.
---
A 14% APY, but when you break it down to two weeks, it's barely anything—and you still have to lock it up.

14% annualized unlocks in two weeks? Is this yield for real...
ZIL is indeed racing against time, 16.85 million hit the limit, if I had known earlier...
Two weeks of locking is still acceptable, but this limit (845000) feels a bit tight, it seems Large Investors are about to make money again.

14% annualized sounds good, but unlocking in two weeks? Feels like a game of musical chairs, the earlier you get in, the sooner you earn out.

14%? Unlock in two weeks? I've seen too many tricks like this, those who rush in will definitely lose.
First come, first served, the ceiling is 16.85 million ZIL, to put it simply, it's just a capital money-grabbing game.
If you want to join this wave, you have to act fast, but I still feel uneasy...
How stable is this ZIL coin, everyone?
Lock-up position for two weeks sounds appealing, but will it drop and fall below the issue price?
