#美SEC促进加密资产创新监管框架 In the contract trading game, I’ve come up with a few survival rules that can help you last longer in the market.

Let’s start with how to lock in profits. Say you opened a long position and your unrealized profit has reached 10%. Don’t get cocky—keep a close watch on the drawdown. What if the price reverses back to your entry point? Don’t hesitate, just close the position and walk away. If you’re lucky enough to make 20%, set a rule for yourself: you must secure at least 10% profit on that trade before exiting, unless you’re really sure the rally has peaked. Likewise, if your unrealized profit hits 30%, hold onto at least 15% before pulling out. This way, even if you can’t pinpoint the exact top, you can let your profits compound over time.

Now, let’s talk about risk control. What if the price drops 15% after you enter a trade? My advice: cut your losses, no questions asked. You can adjust this 15% threshold based on your own style, but don’t set it too wide. Some people say, “What if the price rebounds right after I sell?” That just means your entry timing was off—consider it the cost of a bad trade and move on. Remember, always set your stop loss in advance for every single trade. That’s the basic survival skill in the crypto market.

Lastly, let’s discuss the rebuy strategy. If you’ve closed a long position and the price drops further, but you still believe in the coin, just buy back the same amount at the original price. The benefit is that your position size stays the same, but you end up with extra cash in your account. Of course, if the price doesn’t really drop after you close and it quickly bounces back to your exit point, just buy back in without hesitation. You’ll pay a bit more in fees, but it can effectively prevent you from missing out. You can use this tactic along with your stop loss rule: buy back if it rebounds, cut your losses if it drops further. If you notice that the coin’s price just keeps bouncing around, it’s a sign you need to find a new entry point.

At the end of the day, short-term contract trading isn’t about reckless moves, and chasing hot trends isn’t the same as gambling on luck. Take your profits when you should, and don’t feel like you’re missing out if you’re sitting on the sidelines. As for finding the perfect buy or sell point? Don’t get obsessed with catching the very bottom or top—that’s something only the gods can do. $BTC $ETH $BNB

The 15% stop-loss rule is truly a lifeline—so many people end up getting stuck just because they can't bear to cut their losses.

Talking about stop-loss is easy, but actually doing it is really hard. I’m just too greedy and ended up losing half a year’s profit in one go.

It looks like another "I made money so now I'm here to teach you" scheme. Can you really survive with a 15% stop loss? I've seen quite a few people doing this and blowing up their accounts early on.

What you said is absolutely right, but it's really hard to execute. Honestly, I'm really scared of cutting my positions now—my hands start shaking whenever I see a 15% drop, and usually, right after I cut, it rebounds. Now I mainly rely on buying back to make up for it, but the fees are a bit painful.

You're absolutely right, setting a stop-loss is truly the lifeline. I once couldn't bring myself to cut a 15% loss, and ended up getting liquidated. Reading this now, I really regret it.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. You have to be decisive when cutting losses. I blew up an account before because I couldn't bear to cut my losses.

You're absolutely right, stop-loss really is a survival rule. I've suffered too many losses from not setting stop-loss orders.

Sounds good, but this theory is a joke when faced with large funds dumping the market. My 15% stop loss was already breached long ago. Now I can only stay out of the market and watch others get rekt.
