I've been hanging around the Web3 community these past couple of days, and the more I see, the more surreal it feels.
Everywhere you look, it's all about hyping coins, pumping prices, and selling dreams. After all the scheming, in the end, nobody really remembers anyone.
Right now, I truly believe in one thing: there really is an invisible attraction between people. The kind of person you are naturally determines the kind of people you meet. You can't fake it.
This isn't something you can build by curating your social media—it comes down to whether you keep your word every time you speak, whether you actually follow through on what you promise. Maybe no one pays attention the first couple of times, but over time, your "credit score" is there for all to see.
The crypto space is never short on stories; what it really lacks are people who do what they say.

Honestly, I get annoyed when I look at those people in the group now. They brag all the time, but I've never seen anyone actually deliver.

ngl the credit score thing hits different when you're running validators 24/7... like every missed attestation, every slashing risk—it all compounds. reputation's literally your stake in the protocol, no amount of twitter threads can fake that out.

Keeping your word is worth more than gold in this circle.

It's true, reputation is more valuable than anything in the crypto space, but most people don't care at all.
There are indeed few people who do what they say, but if we're going to do it, let's be among those few.

Keeping one's word has really become a luxury in this circle.

Saying and doing are rare commodities in the crypto space. All I see around are just empty talkers.
It's easy to show off, but actually getting things done is insanely hard.
Once trust is broken, you can never get it back—I realized this a long time ago.
That's why I trust technology over people—code doesn't lie.
Signal callers should all disappear; only those who actually build things deserve to speak.
Character and competence are worth ten thousand times more than stories.
Between promises and delivery lies the entire crypto industry's web of lies.
