Why do so many people in InfoFi let founders act like they’re their bosses?

I have been in Web3 from the very beginning. Even during the peak NFT mania, founders never talked down to their communities the way some teams do today.

People forget a simple truth. Web3 is you.
Founders are not your leaders. They are just building products for a community that decides whether they succeed or fail.

Yet somehow the balance flipped.
Now we see users reporting each other, founders acting like school principals, and teams attacking any feedback as if it’s a personal threat.

Not all founders are like this. Some still manage to stay respectful, even in a toxic atmosphere. They deserve real credit.

But let’s be honest.
This environment was created by all of us.

Everyone thinks others are AI farmers. Everyone thinks others are engagement hunters. Meanwhile we forget the real reason we are here.
To make Web3 great again. To build together. To win together. Not to compete for approval or tear each other down.

I truly hope we can bring Web3 back to what made it special in the first place.
