Elon Musk is updating the x algorithm again

Sharing some of my findings:

1. Favor small accounts, don’t focus on followers, focus on content. Each piece of content will undergo layered testing, first shown to a small group of people, observe interactions. If the data is good, it will be pushed to a larger traffic pool.

2. If the content performs poorly, it gets limited; if it performs well, it can go viral, leading to viral dissemination.

3. Reply more to others, reply to all recommended posts, the algorithm will also recommend your replies. Posting and replying more before and after can help boost your post’s traffic.

4. Algorithm recommendation logic: First, select about 1500 posts from a vast pool, 50% from accounts you frequently interact with, 40% from content related to topics you haven't followed but are relevant, and 10% from trending topics and real-time hot news.

5. Avoid posting crypto-related content too frequently.

6. If users mark your content as “Not interested,” report, block, or quickly scroll past, you will be temporarily sidelined.

7. Video content is especially favored by the algorithm: maintaining a 10-second view results in maximum exposure, over three times that of text posts. The first 3 seconds of a video are crucial for hooks.

8. High-value interactions: saving 5x, quoting tweets 4x, meaningful replies 3x, reposts x, likes 1x bonus.

9. Post more original, in-depth content to guide discussions. The algorithm’s goal is to maximize user dwell time.

10. Short, concise, yet thought-provoking content with a good sense of humor will get extra points.

11. Reply to comments within 2 hours, encourage quoting tweets and saving posts.

12. Post 3-5 times daily, spaced 2-3 hours apart; peak times are 9-11AM & 7-9PM. Performance is better on weekends.

13. The algorithm emphasizes real-time engagement; participating in trending topics like news events can rapidly amplify exposure.

14. Stay authentic, be yourself. Acting to gain traffic can lead to being labeled as untrustworthy.
