How to identify whether the market is currently in an expansion bull market or a stock competition phase? These two market environments have vastly different impacts on holding strategies.

In the incremental phase, new funds continuously enter the market. Even if you buy at a high level, there's no need to panic too much. As long as the underlying asset itself is fine, time often helps to average out your costs—that's the power of time value.

But the stock market phase is different. Projects that look good and narratives that once seemed promising can still fail. Falling from a high level, recovering costs becomes a distant hope, and in the worst case, it can go to zero with a complete exit.

Taking a look at the recent two-week trend of the SOL ecosystem, the performance of some popular projects is indeed testing the market's true capacity. At this point, it's even more important to understand which stage you are placing your order in. Misjudging the market phase means that even the best assets are useless.

Oh no, you're absolutely right. We're currently in the speculation phase. Those who sell at the highest point are always in the minority; most people still have to wait. But the existing market is a whole different story; no matter how good the narrative, it can't withstand a sell-off. The projects within the SOL ecosystem have indeed been underperforming recently, and my holdings can confirm that.

Three years ago, I thought the same way. As a result, the few coins I bought at high prices are still deeply trapped now, haha. But on the other hand, whether this stage is truly about incremental growth or stock accumulation needs to be carefully considered. Otherwise, even the best projects can't save my broken account.

nah, this incremental vs. zero-sum framing misses the real play—it's all about governance attack vectors when liquidity dries up. sol ecosystem's "承载力" test? more like protocol darwinism filtering out the weak narratives. timing the fork matters more than timing the market tbh

Damn, you're so right. I just didn't judge the phase correctly before, and I bought a bunch of trash at high prices with SOL. I just want to ask, is it currently an incremental or a stock market? Can anyone give a clear signal? The stock market is really dead, good projects can also be dumped, I'm scared. Buying at high prices back then was really brainless, I thought time could save me. In the past two weeks, those projects in the SOL ecosystem have dropped very quickly, it feels like no one dares to buy anymore. Getting the phase wrong basically means it's game over; no matter how good the narrative sounds, it’s useless. Why does it feel like everything now is just a big scam? We may never return to the days of growth again.

It's the same theory again, I've heard it a hundred times, but ultimately it still depends on what you're holding in your hands.

To be honest, it's really a bit difficult to judge this thing right now. Looking at the performance of the SOL ecosystem over the past two weeks, it seems like everyone is gambling, and no one truly dares to say they are confident. Those who bought in at high prices are now regretting it; the existing market is the real meat grinder.

Really, trading in a bull market and a bear market are completely different games. I've often gotten stuck here and lost money. --- The biggest danger in a stock market is still using a bullish mindset, only to be directly harvested in a wave. --- The current sol ecosystem is indeed screening for those who truly have value. Projects that are just harvesting retail investors should have been cleared out long ago. --- The concept of time value sounds great, but the premise is that you have to live until that day, otherwise it's just talk. --- The key is to learn when the incremental growth ends. Too many people die right at the moment they refuse to admit defeat.
