Bloomberg reports that Standard Chartered is launching a major cryptocurrency brokerage service for hedge funds and asset managers through its investment arm, SC Ventures.
American banks are also expanding similarly: J.P. Morgan is considering trading cryptocurrencies for its clients, while Morgan Stanley has applied for licenses for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs.
With $140 billion in currently active spot cryptocurrency ETFs, the demand for infrastructure for major brokerage services is increasing.
