ETH 4-hour chart technical analysis: momentum weakens, multiple trading opportunities emerge

Abstract generation in progress

【CryptoWorld】Looking at the recent 4-hour trend of ETH, it’s worth discussing.

The price rebounded from the low point at 20:00 on January 13 to a significant increase by 04:00 on the 15th, but the latest candlestick reveals a problem—although the bullish candle closed, the trading volume is shrinking. This is a signal: the upward momentum is slowing down, and the bullish strength is waning.

How to interpret the specific indicators? The MACD histogram is still in the positive zone but is gradually getting shorter, which indeed reflects that the bulls are losing steam. The KDJ is currently in overbought territory (around 81), indicating this rally might be a bit overextended. The MA lines are also looking good; the 10-day and 30-day moving averages maintained an upward crossover at two points on the 15th.

From a price structure perspective: the recent high is stuck at 3367.42, the low at 3086.72, support levels are around 3029, and resistance is just at 3440.

If you’re considering trading, a few key price points to watch: for long positions, look at the buy zones around 3182.46 or 3076.74, with a stop-loss at 3071.29; for short positions or taking profits, 3440 and 3411.53 are two sell points, with a stop-loss at 3384.26.

Overall, the momentum seems a bit weak, with shrinking volume combined with overbought signals, so short-term volatility might be more apparent.

The volume has shrunk, and this wave of increase indeed lacks momentum. KDJ is already at 81, still want to fly? Come on, 3440 is the ceiling no matter how you look at it. Sell a little for stability, anyway, the support is at 3029. Isn't it better to wait for a pullback before getting in? I really don't dare to chase this kind of rebound with declining volume.

Another weak market with shrinking volume, MACD bars are narrowing, and you still want it to go up? KDJ is already at 81, you should know what to do now.

yo hold up, volume drying up while price pumps? that's literally textbook bearish divergence pattern right there... MACD histogram shrinking in positive territory screams loss of momentum, not some minor blip. KDJ overbought at 81? ngl feels like a rug setup waiting to happen. stay vigilant fam.

Trading volume contraction looks quite dangerous --- KDJ is already at 81, still thinking about chasing? This wave is a bit risky --- Breaking 3029 is the real signal, otherwise it's just a false alarm --- Having a good MA line doesn't matter, if volume doesn't follow, a pullback is inevitable --- I just want to know if we can hold at 3440 this time --- The bulls are truly losing blood, it feels like a trend reversal is coming --- Resistance levels are so close, it feels like the space is limited --- The increase is significant, but honestly, the trading volume is a bit disappointing --- From 3086 to 3367, only such a small volume increase? It’s definitely waning
