Lately, when I scout emerging projects in the Web3 space, I keep noticing the same patterns repeating. Almost every new protocol or platform I come across fits into one of four buckets: yield optimization applications, prediction market platforms, perpetual trading DEXs, or decentralized neobanking solutions. It's starting to feel like there's only handful of templates everyone's working with. The lack of differentiation in project positioning is pretty noticeable—everyone's essentially solving the same problem with minor tweaks to the mechanics.

Copy and paste according to these templates; does it seem like no one in Web3 wants to innovate anymore?

On-chain data shows that the contract deployments of these four types of projects are indeed repetitive. From the code perspective, everyone is just modifying parameters.

Honestly, the current projects are really just the same old story, copying over and over again. It's so annoying.

Honestly, seeing these projects makes me want to complain; even the clone projects aren't this ruthless.
