An IP that doesn't compete beyond Web3 walls is essentially sidelining itself. That's just reality.
I used to think pure crypto maximalism would force change—figured ownership mechanics alone would push platforms like Steam and Epic Games to embrace blockchain adoption at scale. Seemed inevitable back then.
But it didn't shake out that way. The traditional giants moved slower than expected, and frankly, they had less incentive. So the playbook has to shift. Web3 projects can't just sit in their own ecosystem waiting for adoption to happen—they need to outexecute, outbuild, and deliver better experiences that make the alternative impossible to ignore.
That's where the real competition happens now.

To be honest, just sitting around waiting for death certainly leads nowhere. You have to take the initiative and strike first.

You are absolutely right; just lying around in Web3 really doesn't make sense.

NGL, the folks at Steam are indeed too strong. Just shouting bankruptcy won't shake their ownership.

ngl, you're not wrong… The Web3 community has been self-indulgent for so many years, it's time to wake up.

This perspective is indeed eye-opening. Previously, some people tried to confront traditional giants solely through ownership mechanisms, but they still underestimated their inertia and moat. It now seems that we have to rely on product strength and user experience to speak.

That's right, the self-entertainment ecosystem really doesn't have much meaning; you have to go out and fight.

That's right, the Web3 community is a self-perpetuating cycle; we need to step out to make progress.
