The transparency of smart contracts is like exposing battle maps on the battlefield. In financial interactions, this transparency directly invites front-running traders and inference attackers—they can act in advance based on on-chain data.

Dusk's confidential execution takes a different approach: hiding the decision-making process, only revealing the final result and mathematical proof. Validators don't need to see private data; they can confirm the execution is correct using cryptography—this shifts from "I see what you did" to "I can prove you did it correctly."

This change may seem simple, but it redefines the trust model. Front-running becomes impossible, inference attacks lose their data support, and the overall security level of the contract is dramatically increased. For developers and users, this is a qualitative leap in smart contract security.

This is the proper privacy solution. The previous public chains were like walking around naked.

This is the true privacy infrastructure. Finally, someone is exposing the MEV tumor problem to the fullest.

In theory, it can block the jump-the-gun, but once it's actually on the chain, new tricks keep emerging...

This idea is interesting, but does hiding the logic really ensure security? It still depends on what the actual audit says.
