You've probably heard of Owlto Finance if you've been farming Layer 2 tokens like ARB, OP, or ZK. Problem is, none of my wallets qualified for their airdrop—which is frustrating considering I was eligible for the Orbiter Finance drop.
Seems like the eligibility criteria they set up doesn't match what the community expects. Curious if anyone else ran into the same issue?
For those who missed both, it's worth reviewing how different protocols structure their airdrop snapshots. The difference between qualifying for one L2 ecosystem initiative and missing another says a lot about how projects weight their user retention metrics.

honestly, the snapshot mechanics on these protocols are a mess. technically speaking, most teams just don't implement their eligibility logic transparently enough—and that's by design, not accident. missed owlto but caught orbiter? that's literally just poor cryptographic commitment to their stated criteria. idk, feels like they're obfuscating the actual thresholds to avoid liability or whatever.

Ha, I was just saying, why are these airdrop rules so inexplicable... Both are L2 ecosystems, why can Orbiter get the Owlto airdrop but not others?

Buddy, Owlto's rules are really addictive, I've had the same experience.

Oh no, this is awkward. I also got swept by owlto.

I've also fallen into this trap... I really can't understand Owlto's snapshot logic, but Orbiter airdropped to me, which is outrageous.

If I had known earlier that the owlto rules were a trap, many wallets wouldn't have been affected, but Orbiter passed anyway? That's outrageous.
