The product team of social platform X recently adjusted the usage rules for the developer API. A well-known advisor in the Solana ecosystem pointed out that applications that encourage users to post through reward mechanisms (commonly known as "information finance" projects) will no longer be granted API access.

Why take such drastic measures? Simply put, the proliferation of these applications has led to a platform flooded with low-quality AI-generated content and meaningless replies, severely damaging the user experience. The authorities have already revoked the API permissions for related applications, with a clear goal — to purify the ecosystem and improve content quality.

This reflects a reality: if incentive mechanisms are poorly designed, they can easily become breeding grounds for spam. Crypto projects, while pursuing user growth, must also consider how to maintain the health of the platform.

Finally, someone is playing hardball. These information and financial projects really need regulation. It’s about time to do this. The annoyance of spammy information flooding the screens goes without saying. If the incentive design is poor, don’t blame being banned—that’s what they deserve. Oh my, another wave of projects being cleared out. The ecosystem needs to calm down. To put it simply, greedy projects all need to be dealt with. If you want steady growth, don’t rely on spam bombardments. This time, the authorities took quite a tough stance, and it’s definitely justified.

It's about time to cut, all that info-finance stuff has been annoying for a long time, spamming everywhere.

Laughing out loud, it's another old trick of "we need to purify the ecosystem." Basically, it's just that AI flooding the screens is too intense, and the platform can't handle it.

I really should have done it earlier. These information financial projects have been annoying for a long time, flooding screens with robot spam. It's better late than never to purify the ecosystem.

Haha, there's nothing I can do. There are too many trash projects. This move should have been made earlier.

It was about time to regulate these information finance projects. Flooding the screens until everything is dark and chaotic is really annoying. As soon as the API is shut down, those who can't design proper incentives should be gone. The rampant spread of junk content is caused by these projects. No wonder the platform has taken action. What’s the use of looking good with growth numbers? If the ecosystem is rotten, it’s doomed. This time, X has finally done the right thing. Someone has to clean up this mess. The old tricks of information finance to cut leeks have finally hit a dead end, haha. Good incentives can retain users; messing up just creates a junkyard. It’s not that hard to understand why so many projects don’t get it. Honestly, it should have been banned a long time ago. It’s too late now.
