Stablecoins can settle globally in seconds, but there's a problem: your identity can't move with them. This mismatch is what's holding back real crypto adoption.

Think about it. You've got instant payments across borders, but when you need to access onramps, offramps, or neobank services, you're stuck proving who you are all over again. The friction kills the whole point.

What if your verified identity was portable? What if your data belonged to you—actually under your control—and you could reuse it across different financial platforms? No more repeating KYC. No more trust overhead.

That's the gap worth closing. Your verified credentials become an asset you carry with you. Access cards, neobanks, DeFi gateways—all the financial infrastructure—suddenly becomes seamless. This is what real adoption looks like.

The portability of identity is indeed a pain point; repeatedly going through KYC is really annoying.

lmao so you're saying the real bottleneck isn't settlement speed but compliance overhead? actually if you run the numbers on kyc friction costs across major onramps, you're bleeding ~400bps annually just from repeated verification. write better identity contracts → portable creds → extract arbitrage → repeat. the portable identity layer is where the real value accrues ngl.

Stablecoin instant settlement, but identity verification is holding things back—this idea truly hits the sore spot.
