The InfoFi ecosystem is undergoing a significant shake-up following the termination of developer APIs. According to recent announcements, major platforms including Wallchain, XeetAI, KaitoAI, AiraaAgent, and MindoAI appear to be among those affected by this move. The disruption raises questions about the future viability of information finance platforms built on third-party integrations.

Beyond the immediate fallout, there's growing speculation about how social platforms might reshape creator monetization. If platforms like X follow TikTok's blueprint by launching a dedicated Creator Marketplace, it could fundamentally alter how developers and creators access financial tools and API infrastructure. Such a shift might consolidate power away from independent ecosystems, forcing projects to adapt quickly or risk becoming obsolete.

When the API goes down, these projects are doomed... It's just another centralized platform's harvesting script.

Another wave of API cutoffs... This time InfoFi was hit pretty hard, Wallchain folks are really unlucky --- Centralized platforms are getting more and more aggressive, how long can independent ecosystems survive? --- X wants to copy TikTok's model? Oh no, developers will have even less room to grow in the future --- Creator Marketplace sounds good but it's just so-so... the core is still being eaten by the platform --- That's why I never overly rely on a single platform's API... trouble is bound to happen sooner or later --- Basically, platform power is becoming more concentrated, small projects either surrender or die --- This round of InfoFi is really over, why does it feel like Web3 innovation is actually slowing down

The API is down, and these projects really need to save themselves. Centralized platforms can shut down at will, which is too ruthless. Now it depends on who can quickly adapt to the new rules. If you can't adapt, you're dead. X really needs to learn from TikTok. An independent ecosystem might be doomed; big platforms call the shots.

A large chunk of the API is down... Is Wallchain about to fail? It feels like the entire InfoFi ecosystem is teetering on the edge. By the way, if X really adopts TikTok's Creator Marketplace model, will independent projects still have a chance? With big platforms monopolizing, we will be completely reduced to workers. It's the same old centralized approach... Who will be the next to get cut this time?
