Why hasn't anyone built an actual XRP-based economy yet? Picture a real community—one where XRP isn't just sitting in wallets, but actually becomes the backbone of everyday transactions. A society built from the ground up where XRP is the native currency, the only settlement layer that matters. It sounds wild, but it could work. You'd have commerce, trade, all flowing through the XRP ledger with actual utility. No legacy barriers, no middlemen—just native tokenomics at scale. Someone should seriously explore this.

ngl the xrp "economy" pitch keeps ignoring the same friction points that've killed every other alt-L1 experiment... transaction patterns show most xrp movement is still exchange-to-exchange clustering, not organic commerce. where's the actual adoption data to back this up?

To be honest, this idea sounds great but is completely unfeasible in practice... unless we first solve the issue of establishing the payment scenarios.

Honestly, the XRP ecosystem really just needs a killer app. To be honest, it's a bit hopeless.

Hmm... After all these years, it's still just sitting in the wallet. Will there really be a day when it happens?
