Another tough morning. Watching $FOGO drop from 0.05, I still naively thought it could hold, but in the end, 6 BNB went in and I lost $140 in one shot. Is this called an IPO? I think it’s more like a discount—the user’s discount.

To put it plainly, the problem with locked-in TGE is this: the project team holds the chips, while retail investors are tightly locked in. Pumping and dumping all depend on their whim, and we can only wait helplessly. For tokens with unlock periods, if they can’t be sold or dumped, watching the account balance turn into a pile of crap, what else can we do besides posting memes?

Later, I started to reflect on investment logic. Instead of passively bearing these risks, it’s better to proactively adjust strategies—put funds into places you can control. Recently, I prefer a no-lock position, entering and exiting at will. For example, generating lisUSD stablecoins through staking assets, which can provide continuous income without being trapped by unlock cycles.

The benefits of this model are obvious: asset liquidity remains in your hands, and the earning rules are written into on-chain contracts, leaving no room for manipulation. During a bull market, holding tokens to earn yields; in a bear market, still able to earn stable income. $LISTA, as a governance token for this kind of ecosystem, not only has investment value but also represents a new DeFi wealth management approach.

Ultimately, true investing is about maintaining control over your funds, not passively waiting and praying.

140 bucks definitely hurts, but this reflection is worth it. Locking up tokens is just gambling on luck, it's pointless.

Paying $140 as tuition, it's not too late to wake up. Really, I can now avoid those locked-up coins; anyway, we're the ones who suffer the most in the end. I get the logic of lisUSD now; it's definitely more comfortable than passively taking hits. Staking stablecoins is much more reliable than dealing with those shady new coins, and I'm also considering this approach.

$140 gone, this is just tuition, damn it. --- Retail investors are always the ones being harvested, got it. --- Does lisUSD really recover funds, or is it another round of rug pulling? --- Control in your own hands is the real principle; coins that are locked are just worthless paper. --- What’s there to reflect on? Mainly, I didn’t make any money, same as everyone else. --- Staking and earning sounds good, but I’m just worried it’s another mirage. --- The lock-up TGE rule should have been changed long ago; the project team is happy while retail investors cry. --- Lost 6 BNB, it’s really tragic. I’ve also been caught. --- No one manipulates on-chain contracts? Ha, that’s too naive, my friend. --- An unlocked staking plan sounds reliable, but I’m just afraid the next trap is waiting for me.

$140? I can't help but laugh. That's why I only deal with non-locking assets now. Retail investors are always the last to take the fall; the TGE model is just an IQ tax. After switching to lisUSD, my mindset has definitely improved. At least I don't have to worry every day about the unlock schedule. Controlling your own funds is the way to go. Don't let project teams lead you around by the nose.
