X has shut down InfoFi applications, marking a significant policy shift in the platform's approach to Web3 content. According to Nikita Bier's announcement, the decision stems from persistent issues with AI-generated spam and poor-quality submissions flooding the ecosystem. The crackdown affects multiple information finance platforms, including Kaito, Xeet, and Wallchain, which have all had their API access revoked.

The implications are substantial. InfoFi's distribution channels on X have effectively collapsed to zero, cutting off a major avenue for reaching engaged users. This raises a critical question about attention-based competitive advantages in Web3—when centralized platforms can arbitrarily restrict access to entire categories of applications, how sustainable are business models built on that foundation? Projects leveraging X for user acquisition and community engagement now face direct constraints on their go-to-market strategies.

Beyond the immediate impact on these platforms, the decision underscores growing friction between social media moderation priorities and Web3 application ecosystems. Whether this is a temporary measure targeting abuse or a longer-term stance on InfoFi-type services remains to be seen, but the market adjustment is undeniable.

Centralized platforms can ban at will, Web3's reliance is really fragile --- Once again, AI garbage flooding the ecosystem as an excuse, but this time Elon Musk is serious --- Honestly, he just doesn't want Web3 to be too arrogant on his turf --- Is kaito and xeet all gone? This is getting interesting, let’s see who still dares to all-in on the Twitter ecosystem --- Infifi is gone, those who boasted about "decentralization" are now embarrassed --- This is the real truth of Web3; in the end, it’s still being choked by centralized platforms --- Is it just temporary suppression? Who knows, anyway the crypto circle is getting anxious again

Here we go again, centralized platforms say no and ban, what freedom is there in Web3? X's move to directly cut off InfoFi is satisfying but definitely makes us reflect... Relying on others' traffic is ultimately drinking poison to quench thirst. Projects like Kaito and Wallchain probably need to rethink their strategies; those relying on X will have to change course. Blaming others aside, the flood of mediocre applications should indeed be cleaned up. Is it because X's cut was a bit harsh? Can't tell the difference between good and bad? Web3 hasn't really figured out how to coexist with centralized platforms yet.

Here we go again... X is clearing out the scene --- Kaito and Xeet got caught, this move is indeed a bit harsh --- Centralized platforms say they can shut down at will, Web3 still relies on them for traffic, isn't that ironic? --- It's true that there's a lot of trash content, but a complete crackdown like this is too crude --- Is the InfoFi ecosystem sentenced to death? --- The key question is whether there will be another wave later on... --- To put it simply, X doesn't want to see these things, just find any reason --- From this operation, it seems that completely shaking off centralized platforms isn't that easy

Oh no, this is the end. The InfoFi ecosystem is gone with a single cut by X. --- Once again, centralized platforms just ban at will. Web3 is built on sand... --- I knew Kaito would be banned sooner or later. The spam was indeed excessive to the point of absurdity. --- This move is really ruthless, cutting off half of the way to survive haha. --- X: I don't love you anymore, goodbye InfoFi. --- Relying on a single platform is the result. Everyone should learn from this lesson. --- Rushing in quickly and falling just as fast, the decentralized dream has been shattered once again. --- Where is the promised Web3 freedom? Now we're just at the mercy of the big players. --- But the spam was really annoying, so this ban does have some reason... --- What about projects like Wallchain? Without APIs, how can they even operate?

Oh no, here we go again. Centralized platforms just ban at will. Can't live without X, huh? This time InfoFi was directly hammered to death, and Kaito users have to follow along and be buried with it. I understand there are too many spam messages, but a complete crackdown like this? How are Web3 projects supposed to operate?
