State Street officially announces the launch of a digital asset platform. The platform's ambitions are significant — it plans to issue a full range of tokenized products, including money market funds, ETFs, tokenized deposits, and stablecoins, among cash assets. In other words, classic traditional financial products are gradually moving onto the blockchain. More interestingly, they will work hand in hand with their own asset management firm, institutional clients, and asset management departments to build this system together. This is not an isolated event — prior to this, State Street had already partnered with Galaxy Digital to launch tokenized funds, indicating that traditional financial institutions are increasingly paying attention to the tokenization track.

Traditional finance really can't sit still anymore and has started to seize the blockchain opportunity. However, to be honest, if these big institutions really move their products onto the chain, whether they can adapt to decentralized gameplay remains a question.

Traditional finance is finally starting to seriously engage in tokenization, but whether this move can truly break the circle remains to be seen in the follow-up.

The big fish has entered the scene, and this time it's serious... Traditional finance is finally starting to take on-chain assets seriously.
